Join us to honor internationally known haiku poet, Nicholas (Nick) Virgilio (1928-1989) Bring your haiku to share. This annual event commemorates Nick Virgilio’s birthday and his legacy. (Nick’s actual date of birth was 6/28/1928.)   ALL ARE INVITED.

NOTE: This is an annual event sharing haiku and senryu poetry with Friends of the Nick Virgilio Haiku Association at the gravesite of Nick Virgilio (only a stone's throw away from the grave of the poet, Walt Whitman) at historic Harleigh Cemetery. A reading and sharing of poetry at the stone podium, where Nick’s most famous poem is carved.
